Who is Dr. Mondonico Williams
Dr. Mondonico Williams is a native Memphian and former church planter. He planted a multiethnic in Memphis, TN. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Memphis, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Seminary in Memphis, TN, and a Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. His doctoral research was on African-American pastoral leadership in the multiethnic church. This research allowed him to develop a multiethnic church leadership workshop for African-American pastors and pastoral interns. This workshop is not limited to African-Americans, but it is for all who have the responsibility of training and developing African- American multiethnic pastors.
He is a disciple-maker and is passionate about reaching people who need Jesus through discipleship. He also believes that the local church should be culturally and racially diverse and that racial reconciliation is pivotal for gospel reconciliation. He has traveled the world and trained pastors and taught discipleship in counties on the continents of Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. He spent eight years of his life in the United States Navy as an aircrew-man and is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.
He married the love of his life (high school sweetheart) LaToshia in 1998. They have been blessed with two daughters, Mykenzie, Mykilei, and a son, Kylen. As parents, they are diligently raising their children to be disciple-making world impactors to the glory of God. One of his life verses is Malachi 2:6, “True instruction was in his mouth, and no wrong was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many from iniquity.”
